JINYA Ramen Bar
Places like JINYA are like an oasis in the middle of the desert. It's way out of the way, but I think it's also worth it from time to time. Grab your beach towel and make a trip out of it because ending the day with a bowl of their tonkotsu black melts all my stress away. My husband and I always start with a JINYA bun and I like their mocktails. Their menu is a little overwhelming, but I'll be making my way around it because nothing I've tried has done me wrong yet.

YATAI
Do you like generic anime and ramen? You'll love YATAI. Judging by the reviews, we either went on an off day or people need to go anywhere else for ramen. It's the worst I've had and I'd take some cheap instant noodles over whatever we had. Unfortunately, though, they are the other place that makes pork belly the way I love to eat it which is frustrating because everything else about it is the reason I'd rather keep driving an hour further for ramen.

Kohana Sushi and Ramen
I miss this ramen so much. So very much. My favorite had been the tonkotsu black and I always got extra pork belly because they are one of two places that make it the way I love it. Tonkotsu white and shoyu where good, too, but anywhere I go I always get tonkotsu black. The sushi is good, but there were too many to try. If you're feeling adventurous, I recommend trying the sushi options with fruit.
